Chad went above and beyond to help us out when our pontoon was hit by another boat. I can't imagine a lot of rental places would have been so concerned and understanding. We won't hesitate to do business with him again!
We had a horrible experience. Called to reserve a pontoon last minute and no wonder he had availability. We had a pontoon for the day and noticed we were extremely rushed upon our arrival. Had a great day out on the boat and were told to call about a 1/2 hour before our arrival back (which was due back by 8:00 pm). We talked t him and he said to just leave the keys behind, which we were hesitant to do because of he signing we did for liabilities and talked about the amount of gas that would be charged back to us, which was not the conversation we had when signing the papers. We exclaimed that we had a wonderful time but we're disappointed in his discussion, he became vulgar and very unprofessional. There were three other families that were also coming in with similar issues, which we were thankful for so we could validate them. We paid in cash for a discount and thought it was a little shady from the get go. Please be cautious.
This comment is for Joel and Jamie. We apologize for your frustration at the end of the day when returning your rental boat. That was a very busy day for us and we were short handed. We deal with hundreds of rental groups throughout the summer and try to be very thorough with each and every group. Again, we do apologize for the frustration. Your criticism has been noted and will be helpful.
Chad was great, super nice and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed for boat rental. Boat ran great and was super clean.
From the moment we walked in things just didn't feel right. Made me feel a little uneasy to give him my ID and credit card. Chad was rushing to get through the paperwork to get us out of there, like he had something better to do than his job. My family and I had an awesome time on the Pontoon. Chad had asked that I call him an hour before returning so the Pontoon could be inspected, which I did. (No answer). Finally got ahold of him when we returned. (Via phone) He sounded intoxicated. We discussed what was owed for the fuel we used. Before leaving his dock he had said $4 a gallon, which I was fine with. We used approximately 5 gallons of fuel and he wanted to charge us $48 dollars. I was nicely asking him how he was getting that price. He than proceeded to curse at me and tell me he didn't need my business. I was very polite with him and he still continued to curse at me. Over all, the experience on the lake was great but his service was terrible. I would highly recommend NOT using his services. Look elsewhere, there are great people out there but he is not one.
