Got pork tacos and sweet potato fries both times I've been here.. SO yummy. Great views of the water too.
Atmosphere and location are perfect. I didn't eat but the food looked great, and I'm betting it was. Service was good and although the piano in the background was a little loud, it was still nice. So why only 3 stars? The beer. I've had their beer before at festivals across the state and it just didn't taste as good when I was there as I remembered it being before. They only had 3 of their beers on tap and the porter was almost in the nut brown category. This place is good overall but from the standpoint of a beer critic, it was pretty average. I will go again in the future to see if I caught it on an off day.
We've been going here for 15+ years and it is now the best its ever been. We like that the menu has options for smaller portions or bigger ones (personally I don't care for 3 lbs of food for lunch but if you want that they have it too!). This time what we had was fantastic: the humus and bread plate and a Ruben (you think all Rubens are the same until you've had theirs). Great beer - best its ever been. And Bill the bartender is as welcoming a guy as you'll ever meet. And the outdoor, second floor seating overlooking the lake in the summer is a great addition.
Service was great. Maddie was a wonderful waitress. Kids menu is good. Fish fry isn't the best, but other food is quite delicious!
Bill The Bartender (BTB) was extremely passionate and fun. He went out of his way to show us the growing brewery and we had a good time with him! Highly recommend!
